Three more episodes of the ITV police drama starring David Jason as the garrulous Detective Inspector Jack Frost. In ‘Hidden Truth’, Frost is protecting Cathy Thompson (Sophie Stanton), a vital witness to a murder committed by gangster Jack Flynn (Michael McKell). But when she goes missing before the murder trial, Frost starts to suspect an insider leak. In ‘Close Encounters’, a security guard at Denton quarries is attacked, and the only witness to the crime is Laurence Burrell (Jim Sturgess), an autistic boy who is convinced that aliens were responsible. Finally, ‘Held in Trust’ sees Frost uncovering a paedophile ring in Denton, which comes to light after a ten-year-old boy is abducted from the terraces of a local football match.
